A very popular spot among locals and Stony Brook University students. It’s located right across the street from Three Village Church, off Route 25A. It has a pretty distinct sign outside and it isn’t very difficult to find. We probably would have never found this place if people never stopped ranting about it.
Always craving this stuff, man! it is the best thing that has ever happened to stony brook students. If you have a car and get off campus (assuming you’re a student at Stony) this should be your first stop!!!! Their sandwiches are always so fresh and so BIG that you really get a bang for your buck. The staff are always friendly and will always be patient when you are deciding which sandwich you want to sink your teeth in. Even the vegetarian delight sandwich was good ..and I LOVE MEAT. Have to come here, no joke! It had the eggplant, provolone cheese, roasted red peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, with balsamic vinegar on a hero :D. NOT SO BAD FOR A NO MEAT, “healthier” option :D.
HANDS DOWN, BEST DELI SANDWICH IN LONG ISLAND.

It’ll be a sad day when I move out of Long Island because I’ve been a loyal customer of Se-Port Deli since my Sophmore year. This place just does not have the capacity to disappoint.
The staff is nice and humorous. The decor gives you the feel like you’re on an old school yacht. The environment is lively. It’s just a nice place overall. Once you go in you are flooded with the number of delicious choices you can choose from on the extensive menu. They have all sorts of salads, deli meats, hot foods, and such, but this place is known for its AWESOME SANDWICHES. You can’t substitute ingredients from customized sandwiches, but that doesn’t matter, because it’s just that darn good. There is not a lot of seating and it can get crowded at times. If it’s warmer, you can sit outside.
My favorite sandwich has always been the Gasm. A popular choice among many people. There really isn’t any sandwich like this. It’s like Subway’s FootLong (It may or may not be a foot), but on steroids! Each bite into this sandwich just leaves you wanting more. The saddest part is taking the last bite of your delicious sandwich. The Gasm is garlic toasted hero with a heap of chicken cutlet, bacon, cole slaw, and Russian dressing.
You should definitely come here. No doubt about it.
